Садящиеся батарейки на первом Cypres

В последнее время было несколько обращений к нам на тему - почему у меня батарейка села раньше 2х лет, а новая не показывает 6400, как раньше.

Написал гневное письмо в Аиртек, получил ответ:

Dear Alexey,

please know that those batteries mfd 2013 are very good to use.

If they have values above 6000 they are good to use.

They do not have to count to 6400.

It is also like you say, if you switch then on and off a few times they will get better due to the sediment debris inside the battery. This happens if a lithium battery is stored for some time and with the switch on and off´s you can brake away this debris inside.

I would like to take the chance to explain some things about our C1 batteries and why we experience on some of them a shorter lifetime in the last years with them.

When the CYPRES 1 was developed back in the 90´s Airtec found the supplier of lithium batteries which could manufacturer of batteries which really last a long time under a wide variety of conditions.

Like you know the skydivers push those conditions quite a lot.

We were happy with those batteries concerning the duration of life so it was not a problem to have it running for 500 jumps or 2 years.

But at a certain time the law changed and this caused the batteries to have a different consistency of lithium and this had a negative influence in the batteries lifetime.

Since this time, we had a few batteries which did not last the complete 2 years or 500 jumps, but in those cases we always offer a free of charge replacement battery without any trouble.

So please let us know on how many batteries you see no power or which do not last 2 years after installation.

We will then send you free of charge replacement batteries for them.

The reason why we do not have batteries with a new date of manufacturer is, that in 2015 we do not need them anymore as the C1 units are then more than 12,25 years old.

Also the batteries can be stored for 3 years before they are installed into the CYPRES so with a mfd of 2013 they can still be stored for another 2 years and then being installed into a CYPRES 1.

кратко и вольно: если батарейка показывает больше 6 тыщ, то с ней всё ок даже если и не 6400. можно повключать/выключать оно расколбасится будет лучше ибо так и должно быть. у нас крутые батарейки от хорошего производителя мы долго выбирали и должны работаьт 2 года 500 прыгов. если вдруг это не так (пару раз было, ну бывает, разные условия, ещё что) то мы бесплатно поменяем. так вообще их можно 3 года до установки в прибор хранить. так что за дату выпуска не переживайте. те что в 2013 ещё могут 2 года лежать и потом ставится. А новых у нас нет и не будет, т.к. в 2015 один фиг все первые сайпресы кончатся.
